OUR MISSION
Our company focuses on improving lives for children with special needs and their families. The Convergency Cares Program was founded in memory of the late Aditya Roy Sanwalka (our ED’s brother) with the intent of improving the world, both locally and globally. It had been her dream to have a legacy to remember the amazing man he was. The picture on the left was drawn by Patrick Roy Sanwalka (Roy’s nephew and Aparna’s inspiration). Patrick is a youth that has a dual diagnosis of ASD/ADHD
THE ADITYA ROY SANWALKA SCHOLARSHIP FUND
IN 2018, Aparna was able to realize her dream of creating a legacy to honour her brother. In August of 2018, we were able to give a small scholarship to 4 young people to further their education. Education was something that Roy believed strongly in and Aparna values. She is known to say “Your education is everything, no matter what life may hold for you, your education is the one thing that nothing and no one can ever take away”.
Convergency focuses on quality education for children of all needs and strives to provide scholarships to deserving students. We take pride in our advocacy program and support services and work to create lasting results for children with educational disabilities. Convergency continues to forge new partnerships to help our community grow stronger. Follow our news for scholarship information and awards! We are proud that we have been able to provide scholarships for 6 years and we have helped over 50 recipients to further their education. The Aditya Roy Sanwalka Scholarship Fund is looking forward to making a further contribution in the field of Autism and Post-Secondary Education.
